My main goal in practicing bankruptcy law is to not only help people file bankruptcies, but to change the way people think about themselves and to build their confidence and belief in themselves. Bad things happen to good people, which is why the bankruptcy laws were created to help people have a fresh start. Bankruptcy laws are in the Constitution and are a fundamental right of the people. The media and the popular belief is that if you declare bankruptcy, then you have failed in life. This is completely untrue. Declaring bankruptcy is essentially a financial decision and does not deem someone as a failure. Only people who give up are failures and declaring bankruptcy is a way to not give up but to start over. I want to help people because I am genuinely passionate about people’s lives and not only their finances but also their confidence and belief in themselves.
